Lighten Up, It's Just Politics 2024

About 500 people came out to the annual "Lighten Up!" luncheon to hear headliners Speaker Don Scott (D-Portsmouth) and Senator Mark Peake (R-Lynchburg) make fun of themselves and each other in support of VPAP! It was a record-breaking year for attendance, money raised, and groans from the audience. As always, the event is a reminder that while politics is serious business, we don't always have to take ourselves too seriously.
