A Look at Close Votes
The majority of floor votes in the General Assembly this year had unanimous support, continuing the pattern of recent sessions. Of the remaining votes that faced some opposition, more than half of them fell along party lines.

Notes:
- Only includes floor votes through the end of the regular session and excludes most routine procedural votes.
- "A lot" of opposition means that those opposed to the prevailing position constituted at least one-third of those voting.
- "Straight" party-line vote means that all members of a political party voted the same way.
- "Near" party-line vote means that at least 90% of a political party voted the same way.
