Can Youngkin Be Republicans' Equalizer

After being outspent 2:1 in each of the last two legislative election cycles, Virginia Republicans are hoping that Gov. Glenn Youngkin can be their fundraising equalizer this November. A PAC led by Youngkin, a former private equity CEO, reported Monday a record $2.7 million in the bank at the end of March. The chart below compares his war chest with that of his three previous predecessors at the same point in the election cycle.
