Retirements, Elections Lay Bare Senate Budget Panel

Retirements and two primary defeats will remove nearly 150 years of experience from the Virginia Senate committee responsible for the state budget. With the resignation of Sen. Frank Ruff, the Senate Finance and Appropriations Committee will no longer have any returning Republican members when they meet in January.
