First Year Q2 Gubernatorial Fundraising

Republican Gov. Glenn Youngkin raised more than $1.5 million in donations of $10,000 or more during his second quarter in office. Here's how Youngkin's Q2 haul of big donations compares with three predecessors.

Source: Campaign finance disclosure reports filed with the Virginia Department of Elections. The deadline for the full Q2 disclosures are not due until July 15. But his PAC, Spirit of Virginia, is required to report any donation of $10,000 or more within three days of receipt. Those reports can be found here.

Methodology: The dollar amounts in the chart exclude transfers from one committee controlled by a governor to another. Donation totals for past governors have been adjusted upward for inflation.
