This visual compares the amount of money that Governor Youngkin, Lt. Governor Earle Sears and Attorney General Miyares raised for their inaugural festivities compared to their five most immediate predecessors.

Source: Data from Virginia Department of Elections. Includes all cash donations received between Election Day and the first two months of their term in office. Totals for past years have been adjusted for inflation.

Note: Fundraising totals fell in 2010 after a change in state law prohibited politicians from transferring excess inaugural funds for their political committees. Excess funds must be donated to charity.
