Local Access to OB/GYN

Data from the American Medical Association shows that nearly half of Virginia's localities did not have an Obstetrician or Gynecologist in 2021. See how many of these Medical Doctors specializing in pregnancy and childbirth were in each Virginia locality.


Notes: Includes active Obstetrics and Gynecology M.D. employed by federal government or non-federal industry as of 2021. May exclude inactive physicians who are retired, semiretired, working part-time, temporarily not in practice, or not active for other reasons and indicated they worked 20 hours or less per week.
