Demand High for Mail Ballots

Early voting doesn't begin until mid-September, but the pandemic has increased demand for mail-in ballots across Virginia. As of September 7, more than 660,000 voters had applied for mail-in ballots, more than two and a half times as many as the final number of requests four years ago.
