Legislative Candidates: Ebb and Flow

Update July 14th, 2023: The Department of Elections is still making edits and updates to the official candidate listing and VPAP will adjust its listing as new information becomes available.

While the number of major party candidates running for the House of Delegates has declined from its high in 2021, the State Senate has a record number of Democrats and Republicans on the ballot this year, according to a recently released list from the Virginia Department of Elections.
