School Board Fundraising on the Rise
School board candidates have raised $1,100,000 more this year than they had at the same time four years ago, a 66% increase. While the amount of money has grown, the source of these donations remains nearly the same, with candidates raising the majority of their funds from Virginians, small donors, and self-financing.
