Youngkin Draws Large Donors From Other States
During his first 18 months in office, Gov. Glenn Youngkin has consistently outraised his predecessors through large donations of $10,000 or more, totaling nearly $13 million. While the majority of contributions are still from Virginia donors, in the second quarter of 2023, out of state donations more than doubled compared to the first quarter. Virginia has no limits on the amount donors can give to candidates, allowing Youngkin's PAC to bring in two donations of $1 million dollars from out-of-state sources.
